Is a lamp the light, or is the light its own entity? The lamp cannot shine without the flame. If you were to remove the bulb from a flash light or remove the flame from a lamp; it is no longer producing light. It is no longer being used according to what it was designed to do. It still remains a flash light, but without a bulb it has no purpose.
Our lives will never be able to function to its full potential without God who designed our purpose. God is our source of light. God handcrafted our purpose. God gives us a new perspective when we find ourselves blindfolded.
And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing. V4 The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.
Is seeing truly believing, or is believing in the unseen truth? Do you need to see in order to believe? Or do you believe before you are able to see? The word of God teaches us that believing in the unseen produces the ability to see what is true. It is then we understand, it is then the blindfold is removed and the gospel unveiled.
Seeing is understanding. When the blindfold is removed and our mind is unveiled, it is then we begin to see and understand what God is doing in us and what He wants to do through us. We will never understand what is meant to be seen through faith, if our mind is blindfolded by the darkness of this world.
We will never understand what is meant to be seen through faith, if our mind is blindfolded by the darkness of this world.
For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God’s glory displayed in the face of Christ.
Remove the blindfold and allow Gods light to shine through you so you can then reflect light to a world of darkness. God created light with the command of His word. It is still the word of God in our hearts today that produces light in us, knowledge and understanding of who we are in Him.
Remove the blindfold and unveil the gospel. Shine unto others so they too can see the light and the God who created it.
